my back story

 

First off - I’m the proud mum of one amazing girl! Having her was the biggest change to my life and my body, and is by far my proudest achievement.

But the next life changing event (far less heartwarming) was as follows:

In 2019, I was walking to an exercise class with my best friend when we got hit by a van.

The driver fell asleep at the wheel, mounted the curb and ran us over.

It was a tragic accident; Mimi did not survive.

I broke my knee and face in several places, lost multiple teeth and had complications with my eyesight, not to mention the excruciating pain of losing my soul sister.

I went through a lot of therapy, and learnt to walk again.

The opportunity to witness my body heal in the way it did still amazes me to this day.

I vowed that after healing I would get in my best shape possible and treat my mind and body with the respect they deserve.

And now I want to inspire you to do the same…

Imagine looking down at your body and being in absolute awe of what it can do for you. 

Imagine training out of love for your body, rather than hate.

Imagine eating and appreciating every ounce of amazing goodness that is in each and every different food.

Not having to think of foods as good and bad or see exercise as a chore.

Not having to search high and low for motivation.
